Yes, you are right. He is none other than our own David Shepherd.

Shepherd was a batsman for Gloucestershire for 14 years.

He's best known as a leading umpire, standing in 92 Test matches around the world.

He was much loved for his one-legged jigs which he performed when the score reached 111, 222 or 333, scores known as a 'Nelson'.

He was 68.

I am a lot confused on what to post on my blog... these days i have put a strict rule of restricting myself from not posting known facts from the web in my blog for my loving good visitors.
